Breeze Buddy is an innovative stroller toy that features air purification function, specifically designed to protect our little one's respiratory health. The toy features a built-in negative air ionizer that effectively purifies the air surrounding the stroller, with two functioning carbon fibre bristles emit charged ions that keep ashes and germs away from the baby, creating a clean and safe environment surrounding the stroller for babies when they stay in public settings.

More than 90% children are breathing toxic air worldwide.

In 2018, the World Health Organization (WHO) published an alarming statistic that showed 52% of children under 5 in developed countries were breathing in polluted air, with even higher numbers in middle and low-income areas reaching up to 98%. Air pollution is a major threat to the health of children, with air pollution-related illnesses causing nearly 1 in 10 deaths among children under 5. Exposure to polluted air can lead to a host of complications, including lower neurodevelopment, decreased attention, and damage to lung function.The increasing problem of air pollution around the world has made it imperative to safeguard the fragile respiratory health of newborns and young children. With the outbreak of the coronavirus, public awareness of respiratory diseases has risen, but conventional measures such as mask-wearing can pose suffocation or injury risks to the immature airways of babies. Currently, there is a lack of effective solutions to provide newborns with fresh air. It is essential to minimize their exposure to polluted air, as well as to reduce air pollution more widely through the promotion of clean energy and transportation options. This is a crucial step towards ensuring a healthy and safe environment for our future generations.

The health of our children depends on our collective action to address this global problem.

Breeze Buddy addresses the growing concern of air pollution and its impact on infants' and young children's respiratory health. The product's negative ionizer is the centrepiece of its air-purifying function, which releases negative ions, oxygen atoms with extra-negatively-charged electrons with no negative impact on health, through carbon fibre bristles to charge and remove harmful particles from the surrounding air.

The product also includes a printed circuit board for timer and control, an LED for visual prompt, a battery for energy storage, and connecting wires to facilitate electronic operation. With a total cost of less than $5 for all electronic components used in assembly, the product is a highly accessible and cost-effective solution for air purification and respiratory protection for a wide range of populations.

Breeze Buddy's bumpy silicon tentacles containing patterns and textures for the baby to play with, and a hollow rattle ring with colorful beads provide sounds that stimulate a baby's multiple senses, supporting their cognitive and motor development as they explore the world. The product's USB charging method is designed to be convenient and eco-friendly. Its built-in timer also helps to prevent energy waste by automatically turning the ionizer on for six hours every time it is used.
